The Leaning Tower of Niles

A few weeks ago we drove a few miles north of Oak Park to the suburb of Niles to go shopping. On the way we passed through Park Ridge (Hillary Clinton's hometown) and Des Plaines (home of the 1st McDonald's). While in Niles we also had to stop in at 6300 Touhy Ave. For some reason at this location there is an exactly half size replica of the leaning tower of Pisa. Its a pretty remarkable copy, and if it wasn't for the large Ford dealership sign nearby, you might think you actually are in Italy. (By the way, that's me at the base of the tower.)
