Winter

You would think that after all this time has passed, I would have something better to comment on than the weather. But I guess writing about the weather is better than nothing, especially since everyone thinks Chicago has horrendous winters. This being my first, I can only say that it has been surprisingly mild. Just in the last week, the Chicago Tribune ran an article which joked that someday we would all tell our children about the ice and snow and slippery sidewalks of Chicago winters of long ago, and they would not know what we were talking about.
