Korean Food for Thanksgiving

The cousins sit on the steps together

Wow, what a delightful Thanksgiving holiday I had this year. It was a first on many levels including being away from my familiar Boston home and family, but Brian's family welcomed me right in. Brian's family took us out to a fancy restaurant for a traditional turkey and mashed potatoes meal at lunchtime. Then after returning back to their house for the evening, we had a wonderful Korean meal complete with fish, and BBQ beef (grilled outside in zero degree winter weather) and so many other great dishes I can't even begin to name them all. Some of the cousins were there with their wives and we all had fun hanging out and telling stories and trying to be helpful too. I guess that is the neat thing about traditions, is you can create new ones and have variations on a theme.
